These Community Guidelines and Posting Policies outline the standards for behavior and content on the Relistery Service. Our goal is to maintain a safe, respectful, and trustworthy marketplace where users can confidently buy and sell furniture & homewares.
By using the Service, you agree to comply with these Guidelines, which are incorporated by reference into our Terms and Conditions.
You may not list, promote, or engage in:
You may not list items that infringe copyright, trademark, patent, or other intellectual property rights, use copyrighted images without permission, or sell counterfeit items.
You may not engage in harassment, threats, hate speech, bullying, cyberstalking, or sharing personal information about other users without consent (doxxing).
You may not misrepresent items, create fake listings, use bait-and-switch tactics, conceal material defects, or engage in phishing attempts.
You may not post excessive or repetitive listings, use the Service primarily for advertising external businesses, use misleading tags, or attempt to manipulate search rankings.
All listings must accurately describe the item’s condition, features, and specifications, include clear information about any defects, and not omit material facts.
Listing images must be clear, well-lit, show the actual item, accurately represent the item’s condition, not be digitally altered to misrepresent, and show multiple angles and close-ups of any wear or damage.
All listings must display the total price clearly, not hide fees, clearly state if price is negotiable or firm, and be in Australian Dollars (AUD).
When describing item condition, use these standardized definitions:

| Good | Item shows normal wear consistent with age and use, fully functional |
| Fair | Item shows significant wear but remains functional and usable |
You may not list items that are not actually available for sale, use misleading categories or tags, post incomplete listings, or use all caps, excessive punctuation, or disruptive formatting.
All users must communicate respectfully and courteously, use appropriate language, and respond to inquiries in a timely manner.
You may not use profanity, vulgarity, hate speech, threats, sexually explicit language, or personal attacks.
Users are encouraged to respond to reasonable inquiries within 24-48 hours, communicate delays promptly, and update listing status when items sell.
During transactions, users should clearly communicate pickup, delivery, or shipping arrangements, provide tracking information, notify of changes promptly, and confirm receipt and satisfaction.
For minor or first-time violations, users typically receive a warning via email or in-app notification with a reasonable timeframe to comply (typically 24-48 hours).
We may immediately remove or disable access to listings containing prohibited items, infringing material, harassing content, fraudulent listings, or spam.
For repeat or moderate violations, account access may be temporarily suspended for 7, 14, or 30 days.
For serious or repeated violations, accounts may be permanently banned. This applies to illegal item listings, repeated fraud, serious harassment, IP infringement after warnings, and ban evasion attempts.
To appeal enforcement actions, contact us within 14 days of action notification. Our appeals team will review and respond within 10 business days.
To report violations, use the Report button on listings and user profiles, or email us with detailed information including your contact info, specific content being reported (URLs, IDs), and explanation of how it violates these Guidelines.
